Jamie Saponaro is a former middle school teacher, having taught in Maryland and New Jersey. After teaching for ten years, Jamie became a District Technology Coordinator. She is currently an instructional strategies consultant providing professional development to teachers throughout the state of NJ. She is also the author of the book, Creative Projects Using Popular Computer Applications. |
Tom Shown is a Teacher of Mathematics for Deptford Township School and a SMART Certified trainer. Tom has led trainings utilizing SMART Boards, Google Apps, and 21st century skills. When he is not leading a training or teaching in the classroom, Tom is trying to be the best dad and husband he can be to his two daughters and his incredibly supportive wife. |
Karen Warner has been planning and providing professional development for 20 years, most recently as the Director of the Middlesex County Educational Technology Training Center (ETTC) and previously at Bank Street College and the New York Urban Coalition. Karen started as a teacher in Roselle, NJ and later became the district's technology supervisor. Now, through Karen Warner and Associates, Karen continues to help educators find the 'value added' that technology can provide to teaching and learning.

Faraja Thompson has had fifteen years of classroom teaching experience in New Jersey. Currently, she works with students and teachers to facilitate the prioritization of higher-order thinking, student engagement, authenticity and technology use during instruction. Faraja is a certified LoTi teacher mentor and has served as a GenYES student advisor. Both programs empower students and change the way teachers integrate technology.
